The university administration gave Dr. Shafqat Ayaz a comprehensive briefing on the institution’s vision, mission, academic achievements, and student society activities since its establishment in 2001. Later, he was taken to inspect various modern departments of the university, including:

Data Center — a modern and secure infrastructure where the institution’s digital data is preserved.

Smart Meeting System — an advanced AI-based technology in which cameras automatically detect and focus on the speaker’s movements.

Computer Labs and Artificial Intelligence Units — equipped with cutting-edge facilities to provide students with world-class digital skills.

Educational and Research Infrastructure established under the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Program.

Dr. Shafqat Ayaz stated that the University of Malakand, through its blend of modern education and technology, is emerging as a model institution not only for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but for the whole of Pakistan.

He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment, in line with the vision of Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, to align educational institutions with digital technology and provide youth with opportunities of international standard so they can play a significant role at both national and global levels.
